That mission includes promoting and encouraging the adoption of public policies that foster greater job creation, economic growth, and free enterprise.

Ohioans for a Heathy Economy Action Fund (the “Fund”) is a non-connected independent expenditure-only political committee (i.e., a federal “Super PAC”) that is registered with the Federal Election Commission and the Ohio Secretary of State, and is exempt from federal taxation under section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Fund’s spending is independent; it does not make contributions to, or coordinate its spending with, any candidates or political parties. The Fund may accept unlimited contributions from any source, including individuals, political committees (including other Super PACs), and corporations, but may not accept contributions from federal contractors or foreign nationals (except individuals who are not citizens of the United States but who are lawfully admitted for permanent residence). Contributions to the Fund are required to be publicly disclosed. The Fund must use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer of each person whose contribution exceeds $200 in a calendar year. The IRS does not allow contributions to the Fund to be deducted as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
